Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: Monday Thursday, 5:00 AM 3:30 PM EST (OT available on weekends)

Summary:
Responsible for applying protective coatings to circuit boards and assemblies per customer specifications, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with safety protocols.
Apply coatings to circuit boards using spray or PVA coating machines.
Read and interpret technical drawings, labeling diagrams, and mixing ratios.
Mask/tape areas to prevent coating on designated surfaces.
Inspect and touch up assemblies to ensure uniform coverage.
Maintain coating equipment (cleaning, fluid changes, mixer replacement).
Manually remove excess coating and correct machine-missed areas.
Perform encapsulation of discrete assemblies and apply bonding agents, potting, lubricants, and insulation materials as required.
Replenish chemicals, solvents, and process fluids; safely transfer to secondary containers.
Transport circuit board racks and retrieve materials/tools across the facility.
Complete required training on coating, encapsulation, and safety procedures.
Support production demands with additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years experience in coatings, encapsulation, or related trade.
Experience with spray-painting techniques.
Ability to read technical prints and specifications.
Strong computer skills for documentation and machine operation.
Familiarity with coating materials and precision touch-up techniques.
High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.
Hands-on role in a manufacturing setting with chemical and solvent exposure.
Requires standing, lifting, and fine manual tasks.
Must follow safety protocols and proper material handling procedures.
Must pass a medical exam (per supplier guidelines) and be able to read/write English
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
