SKILLS YOU BRING TO THIS ROLE:
· Software configuration management experience.
· Management and leadership skills specific to leading teams to meet established goals and objectives.
· Organization, coordination, and collaboration skills to plan and manage programmatic objectives.
· Clear and effective communication at all levels within an organization.
· Civil certification or military qualification experience is desired.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is required. Mechanical or other related degrees may be considered with applicable experience.
· Must be able to gain and maintain a US Govt Secret Security Clearance
· At have least 5 years aircraft engineering experience developing software including software integration for aircraft.
· 2 years of management in software development is preferred.
· Knowledge of DO-178C process demonstrated through execution developing airborne software
· Understanding of certification of airborne system/software processes (DO-178C, DO-297, DO-326, DO-254, and ARP 4754A) is desired.
· DO-178C DAL A development experience preferred
