Contract length: 3 months (extensions available)
Contracted hours: 37 hours (overtime available)

As a skilled Laminator you will have an important role within the business to stay professional throughout your contract delivering to the highest standard ensuring Safety, Health and Environmental regulations are followed.
Job Description
- Experience & knowledge of using both polyester and epoxy resin systems
- Experience & knowledge of GRP hand lay-up processes using different cloths
- Understand and follow written and/or oral instructions
- Interpret and work from 2 dimensional drawings & written guidance
- Understand and follow health and safety policies associated with all GRP requirements -
- Experience of mould preparation
- Knowledge of vacuum bag & scrimp processes
- Use of grinders, sanders and diamond cutting equipment
- Have some form of Q.C inspection or process control experience
- Have a flexible approach to problem solving
- There may be occasions when you would be asked to work/travel outside of the main location.
General Information
Operations division are involved in the repair and refit of both Royal Naval and Commercial vessels. The majority of the work will be completed on-board ships either moored alongside or in dry docks with the remaining work being performed in various workshops throughout the dockyard. Staff must have a good understanding of GRP laminating processes and be able to demonstrate the various repair techniques used to repair of GRP ships. Candidates should have an understanding of the health and safety regulations involving GRP processes. They must be flexible, hardworking and punctual and be prepared to work in a team to provide a high quality service to meet customer expectations.
