Electronics Repair Technician

Diagnose, repair, and calibrate video inspection equipment to ensure high-performance operation and product reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair video inspection equipment (cameras, monitors, electronic assemblies)
• Perform soldering/desoldering on circuit boards and components
• Test and calibrate systems to verify performance, signal integrity, and display quality
• Troubleshoot issues related to video systems, signal processing, and image quality
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Document repairs including root cause, parts used, and corrective actions
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve recurring defects
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for product reliability and repair efficiency
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of electronics repair experience
• Experience with video systems (cameras, monitors, signal processing)
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in soldering and desoldering (PCB-level repair)
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components, circuits, and diagnostics
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
  • Experience using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators)
