Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $26.67-$31.67/Hour
Ability to Obtain and Maintain Secret Clearance
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Develop production and material plans that support inventory goals, delivery schedules, and program needs.
Maintain and update the master production schedule, ensuring alignment with material requirements and manufacturing capacity.
Manage procurement planning for medium-scale programs, in coordination with supply chain and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate target pricing strategies with supply chain and develop approaches to control material costs.
Use production and material planning tools to maintain accurate forecasts and updates as needed.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to manage engineering changes and their impact on the bill of materials (BOM).
Reconcile financial discrepancies related to material planning and procurement.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Department of Defense Secret Clearance preferred at time of hire
Intermediate experience with MRP/ERP systems and concurrent engineering practices
Working knowledge of government compliance regulations related to materials and procurement
Understanding of engineering change impacts on the BOM and material flow
Ability to coordinate material priorities between the supply chain and internal production
Experience in investigating and resolving financial/material reconciliation issues
On-site work may be required based on program or production needs
