JOB TITLE: Senior Avionics Installer
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $32.18/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Provide direction to technicians; ensure tasks are completed within timeframes
Install, modify, and fabricate wiring, components, and equipment per drawings and specifications
Train team members and support skill development across the team
Assist Engineering in troubleshooting and perform repairs as directed
Maintain required documentation and records
Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
Enforce safety, tool control, 5S, and FOD programs
Inspect all work, including peer work, for quality before final inspection
Maintain shop tools and equipment
Coordinate shift changes in the absence of team leadership
Participate in continuous improvement activities (e.g., YIAW, Kaizen events)
Support or fill in for team coordinator as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Two (2) years of accredited aviation electronics schooling and two (2) years of related work experience, or Four (4) years of experience in an avionics/electronics career field
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
Working knowledge of company manuals and process specifications
Ability to adapt to new tasks with minimal impact on schedule/goals
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer and keyboard proficiency
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
