Tasks
Your key responsibilities are to:
- Manage contractual obligations for small to mid-sized Components & Engines (C&E) customer accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with airline procurement teams
- Oversee account financials, including budgeting, cost control, and margin targets
- Ensure delivery of agreed C&E material services
- Resolve customer complaints and fix operational issues
- Support daily operations of complex C&E contracts, including consignment and issue handling
- Use SAP, BW, MAX, Excel, PowerPoint, c/offer, c/note and other
- Monitor costs, report, and optimize financial performance
- Align revenue generation with service commitments
- Grow accounts through cross- and up-selling
- Work with Marketing and Sales to update contracts
- Improve contract structures and processes
- Coordinate with teams and logistics on customer needs
- Address and resolve service gaps proactively
- Document processes per internal guidelines
- Join client and internal performance meetings
- Collaborate across departments for shared success
- Handle additional support and deputy duties
Requirements
The ideal Junior Account and Supply Chain Manager C&E should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is desirable
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in the aviation, Account and Contract Management, Supply Chain Management, or MRO industry
- Hands-on experience in account management, contract management, and/or supply chain management
- Knowledge about C&E materials is desirable
- Background in logistics
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are an asset
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP and/or AMOS is desirable
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial analysis
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships
