Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Llay Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for a Temporary Maintenance Worker/Handyman.
- 6 month Contract
- 37 hours per week
- Job location: Llay, Wrexham, LL12 0PB.
- Unionised site – works in partnership with Unite the Union.
Working within a machine tool environment. The Maintenance Fitter will assist the maintenance team in maintaining the site and equipment associated with the manufacture of aircraft components.

Essential Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance to the maintenance schedule.
- Work safely with minimum supervision.
- Carry out a wide range of minor repairs to plant and equipment.
- Support other maintenance team members in their day to day roles.
- Work with basic hand tools.
- Maintain high standards of 6S and directly offer improvements.
Position Requirements
Academic:
- Minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent including Maths & English.
- Fork lift/combi lift or crane license is an advantage
