Job Title: Mechanic
Department: Tire and Brake Shop
Reports To: Accountable Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Overhaul and repair of aircraft brake assemblies per Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) requirements.
- Follows procedures, processes, and inspection techniques using various equipment in order to complete tasks.
- Must ensure proper tracking and documentation of activities and parts control is maintained.
- Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Following safety rules and procedures.
- Keeping the work area clean and neat.
QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Previous experience with general aviation or corporate jet aircraft preferred. High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, write, and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to provide verbal and written direction to assigned staff.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:- Working knowledge of personal computers, keyboards, and various software programs.
- Working knowledge of shipping processes.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:- Must have reliable transportation to work.
