What You Will Learn:

• Core principles of operating and maintaining various plant and equipment.
• Industry health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintenance and operational practices, processes and procedures covering a range of plant and equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical documentation and specifications.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operate, inspect, and maintain machines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
• Identify and rectify faults under supervision.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Prepare and restore work areas before and after maintenance tasks.
• Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders to confirm work completion.
• Attend college and maintain good progress with studies submitting assignments and coursework in good time.

Ideally, You Will Have:

• A keen interest in engineering and maintenance.
• A hands-on approach with a genuine interest in fixing things and problem-solving.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions precisely.
• GCSE grade 4-9 or an equivalent qualification in Maths, English and a engineering or technology-based subject is preferred.
