You will primarily work on Bell rotorcraft and MD rotorcraft at a Bell customer service facility and FAA Part 145 repair station. The focus will be on Bell 206 series up to the 412 series airframes, with an emphasis on the 412. Your role is essential in ensuring the safety and functionality of these rotorcraft.

Responsibilities

• Conduct minor airframe inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Remove and install major components, including structural repairs and component overhauls.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Track and balance aircraft components for optimal performance.
• Remove and replace components as necessary to support aircraft operations.
• Overhaul avionics components to ensure functionality and safety.
• Travel to client sites for minimal day trips as required.

• A&P license preferred.
• 5 years of experience working on rotary aircraft.
• Experience with Bell helicopters, specifically up to the 412 model.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Preferred experience with EC 145, UH-72 Lakota, Airbus H145, or DC145.

Work Environment

You will join a team consisting of a Director of Maintenance, Accountable Manager, shop supervisor, lead mechanic, and six other mechanics. Work in a well-equipped overhaul and maintenance shop with about 15 mechanics in total. Located in the southeast US, the position operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential fieldwork. Minimal travel is required, mostly day trips to customer sites, and there is a duty roster for sharing weekend or evening shifts for emergencies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
