Job Title: A&P Mechanic - Line Maintenance Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role involves performing maintenance in accordance with established policies, procedures, and specifications. The Aircraft Mechanic will ensure all work meets the standards set by applicable government agencies and manufacturers.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance, both on-call and scheduled, on various aircraft.
- Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases to return aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components using approved technical data.
- Ensure departing aircraft are safe and all work is documented according to FARs and air carrier/manufacturer manuals.
- Perform assigned line maintenance duties, activities, and tasks.
- Collaborate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center as required.
Essential Skills- Possession of a current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in line maintenance.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl.
- Capability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Awareness of working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and loud noises.
- Utilization of visual acuity for equipment operation and reading technical information.
- Exposure to external weather conditions and non-weather conditions such as extreme heat or cold.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Successful completion of airport security checks and willingness to travel for work.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet customer demand.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- General Familiarization with A320 and A330 aircraft.
- Preferred experience on B767-200/300 aircraft types.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent customer-facing skills, with the ability to work professionally with flight crews.
- Independence and self-motivation with the ability to work without direct supervision.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
