NC Operator, Level 2 

The NC Operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading raw materials and setting up any equipment or accessories needed during production. They also calibrate all necessary items according to manufacturer guidelines to run smoothly.  

Please note that this job description covers the following machines on-site, subject to management changes due to business needs: PAR1, PAR2, S2000, G5, AR 32, and H2.  

Job Duties 

• Operate a variety of NC machines that perform drilling, countersinking, milling, and riveting 

• Assure efficient and maximum output 

• Ensure safe control of the systems operations for airframe fabrication and assembly 

• Monitor and analyze data to initiate appropriate actions where needed 

• Adjust, index, synchronize, and perform pre-established maintenance on all aspects of the system 

• Able to run up to 50 of machines on-site 

• Keep work area clean and orderly 

• Additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or accredited GED preferred 

• 3-5 years of experience preferred 

• Ability to read and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job 

• Ability to run 50+ of above listed machines 

• Previous mechanical experience preferred but not required 

• Training will be provided for any entry level position 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Basic computer skills preferred 

• Excellent planning and time management skills 

• Ability to convey complex information in a way that people understand
