Reports to: Senior Solution Lead

Our Information Technology team plays a key role in delivering high‑quality digital solutions that support Cathay’s operational excellence and long‑term business goals. As part of this team, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver software applications that enhance efficiency and user experience.

In this role, you translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications and support end‑to‑end solution delivery across new and existing platforms. You will gain hands‑on experience in solution design, requirements analysis, testing, and system integration, while strengthening your expertise in SAP MM and enterprise technologies.

• Analyse business requirements and assess detailed solution options from a system perspective
• Support solution design and contribute technical expertise to ensure high‑level design decisions are feasible
• Map and document requirements into functional and technical specifications for software development projects
• Provide support for in‑production systems and manage end‑user expectations, including rotational non‑office‑hour production support
• Oversee the development of solution components, ensuring alignment with requirements and compliance with company standards
• Develop and execute test plans and support user acceptance testing
• Participate in system integration and data migration activities to ensure smooth transitions between legacy and new platforms
• Provide timely project updates, highlighting progress, risks, dependencies and key milestones

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain or related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in SAP MM module development and support
• Hands‑on experience in requirement gathering, solution design and implementation
• Experience with SAP EWM, Travel Management or Ariba is an advantage
• Experience working in an Agile delivery model is an advantage
• Strong understanding of technology concepts, trends and capabilities
• Well‑developed analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and propose ideas
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
