Lockheed Martin is looking for an experienced and dynamic Ground Post Production Chief Engineer to join the Theater High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) program.

As the THAAD Ground Post Production Chief Engineer for THAAD, you will:
• Support the THAAD Launcher and TFCC Chief Engineers with primary delegated responsibility for the THAAD Ground post-production program
• Act as the main technical authority and liaison to customers, program leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders for THAAD Ground post-production, sustainment and fielding support activities
• Lead, mentor, organize and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team
• Drive timely and effective resolution of critical post-production issues by developing action plans, setting priorities, and briefing executive and external leadership on status, recommendations, and risks
• Efficiently close internal and external FRBs through a disciplined root cause and corrective action process
• Evaluate and approve technical baselines and BOEs to enforce development of executable, affordable and technically sound proposals

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience

• Significant experience in Aerospace and/or Defense Industry

• Demonstrated ability to drive closure and resolve technical issues/challenges

• Demonstrated agility in decision-making

• Demonstrated history of engineering excellence and technical leadership

• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with troubleshooting electronic test failures

• Manufacturing Review Board certification for processing non conformance documents

• Experience and familiarity with a variety of engineering disciplines

• Prior experience with the THAAD program or similar BMD programs

• Prior post-production program experience

• Strong Mentoring skills as evidenced through active mentoring relationships

• Proven experience as a conceptual thinker with the ability to translate into action and results

• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers and build effective relationships

• Demonstrated ability to communicate successfully both written and verbally across all levels of an organization from entry level to executive Vice Presidents

• Active or Current Secret clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
