Responsibilities:
- Support the SEM in planning, executing, and delivering all Systems Engineering activities and CDRLs
- Coordinate and lead Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT) meetings, providing consistent systems engineering guidance to SE, DDE, and IPTs
- Support system requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability, and compliance
- Manage development and maintenance of the Requirements Compliance Matrix (RCM)
- Support functional and system architecture development
- Manage system and subsystem interfaces and oversee Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
- Coordinate Size, Weight, Power, Cooling, Reliability (SWaP-C/R) allocation activities to ensure compliance with performance requirements
- Support development and execution of the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
- Plan, prepare, and execute checkpoint and gated design reviews, including associated checklists and technical artifacts
- Support design verification and validation (V&V) activities
- Support system prototype integration and test activities
- Support the Engineering Review Board (ERB), including Design Decision Memos (DDMs), Problem Reports (PRs), and Risk management
Qualifications:
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering (Systems Engineering preferred)
- Experience
- Experience applying systems engineering principles, processes, and lifecycle products
- Experience with system requirements, specifications, architecture, integration, and test
- Experience supporting technical reviews and milestone deliverables
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary engineering teams
- Technical Skills
- Requirements decomposition, allocation, traceability, and compliance
- Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
- Interface management (system/subsystem level)
- Design verification and validation
- Systems engineering documentation (SEMP, RCM, CDRLs)
- Additional Requirements
- Ability to support program travel, as required
