Project Engineer
27.75 - 37.12 Per hour
Morson currently have an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to support the Manufacturing Engineering function of a major aerospace manufacturer. The ME Team work closely with the shopfloor teams to prove innovative and robust solutions. You will be accountable for delivering Projects aimed at enabling and improving the production processes whilst meeting safety, cost & quality requirements.
This role will be based full time in Broughton, on a contract until the end of 2026. We can pay a rate of 27.75 per hour PAYE or 37.12 per hour Umbrella inside IR35.
Responsibilities
- Carry out process mapping and requirement definition.
- Ensure the deployment of analysis, design, development, integration, functional and technical acceptance.
- Support crane lifts by creating lifting processes.
- Ensure activities are completed in line with agreed budget, schedule and resources.
- Provide Project Financial Management.
- Create all required Project documentation.
- Ensure dependencies and risks are clearly identified, reported and managed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated Project Management experience (LBIP, AGILE, Planisware).
- Experience of working in a Production environment.
- Experience in Generating Technical Specification based on Operational Requirements.
- Project Management accreditation would be an advantage.
- CATIA experience preferable.
- Previous Jig & Tool knowledge preferable.
- Experience with lifting and handling methods would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Click n Buy, FMEA, SWOT analysis, 5 whys, Fishbone Analysis, Flowcharts would be beneficial.
Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates are required to be BPSS cleared or eligible for this level of clearance
