Mid-Level Product Security Engineer

As a Mid-Level Product Security Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), this position will be supportingthis position will be supporting the GMD Engineering Development and Early Integration Labs for the Missile Defense Agency. In this role, you will be responsible for lab security and day-to-day cybersecurity posture. You will support the effort of submitting necessary eMASS artifacts, POAMs, and hardware/software upgrades to all GMD elements supporting Early Integration Lab operations to obtain and/or maintain ATO.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 4: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment.
- Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) Cybersecurity.
- CompTIA Security+, ISC2 CISSP, or similar certifications (DoD 8140 compliant).
- National Industry Security Program (NISP) knowledge.
- DoD Manual 5200.01, DoD Information Security Program and 55220, NISPOM knowledge.
- DODI 8500.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD systems, knowledge.
- Experience utilizing vulnerability scanning tools.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing vulnerability scan data.
- Experience assessing DISA STIG compliance, using SCAP Compliance Checker, Evaluate-STIG, or manual methods.
- Ability to evaluate software for compliance with Software Assurance requirements.
- Ability to independently execute and maintain an eMASS package.
- Knowledge of Networking fundamentals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in GMD Program
- Experience with Missile Defense Agency
- Experience and understanding of DoD Cyber Security Requirements
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Experience with scripts for automation

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
P3: $90,000 - $130,000
P4: $110,000 - $150,000
