Job Requirements:
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- 7+ years of avionics maintenance experience on turboprop and/or business jet aircraft.
- Recent hands-on experience performing avionics installs, modifications, and troubleshooting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret avionics schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with FAA regulations, service bulletins, STCs, and repair station procedures.
- Experience with aircraft electrical systems, wiring repairs, and connector build-up.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use basic computer applications.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 7-year Criminal Background Check, and standard FAA DOT drug test.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Proof of US Citizenship.
- MUST have basic tools/box.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, climb, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the work shift.
- Lift or move up to 50 lbs independently and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions typical of Pennsylvania, including dust, humidity, rain, sleet, snow, heat, and cold.
- Work may involve exposure to chemicals, gases, fumes, noise, and heights.
- Must be willing to work day or night shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
