This onsite Project Analyst (PA) position based in Richardson, Texas will provide technical and program support to Cost Account Managers (CAM) on a variety of tasks. Interpret and maintain program requirements for project repositories. Acts as the liaison between Engineering and the Value Stream Office flowing overall programproject status. Track tasks and requirements to ensure the teams are on target to meet their deadlines. Serves as the focal for analyzing and reporting Earned Value (EV) data, creating and presenting program metrics.
What You Will Do
Review/Analyze Variance reports for data integrity/work with finance to resolve issues
Analyze engineering drawings and support estimation of labor hours and material costs to build a product
Setup Work Package Baselines in our Integrated Status and Assessment Tool (iSAT)
Develop and maintain Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) files
Maintain updates to EV and analyze drivers for performance
Analyze work packages to determine remaining labor/material ETC
Analyze staffing demand vs. actuals to identify gaps
Monitors and tracks program status, escalating and reporting challenges, shortfall, issues, etc. to leadership and key stakeholders
Facilitate and support program CAM review meetings
Develop task-based schedules for new bids based on discipline estimates
Track spend by cost center for engineering
Collaborate with work package leads regarding variances in program deliverable reports
Monitors and tracks program status, escalating and reporting challenges, shortfall, issues, etc. to leadership and key stakeholders.
Lead stand-up meetings for team to obtain task status
Identify critical path and near critical path tasks within the program schedule
Back-up for scrum master/project lead
Analysis and modeling of site-specific space needs and timelines
Developing programmatic approaches to addressing communication issues
Track and manage all Engineering Coordination Memos (ECMs) and closure plan
Assist and model Current Execution Index (CEI) tracking
Orchestrate Risk and Opportunity (R&O) at the program level
Backup staffing focal
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
Experience with Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Power BI)
SAP and Jira knowledge and experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Understanding of Collins Management System (CMS)
Experience with understanding technical projects including schedule and earned value management, risk management, customer interaction, and briefings
Experience leading engineering tasks
Understanding of Quality and DCMA processes
Active / Existing Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance Preferred

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
