As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our passengers, delivering professional, efficient, and friendly service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. In addition to your customer-facing responsibilities, you will also support ramp operations, including assisting with aircraft parking, loading, and grooming, ensuring safety and teamwork remain top priorities.
WORK HOURS: Shifts will vary based on operational needs. Shifts may include working weekends.
LOCATION: 188 Airport Rd, Tofino BC
TERM: Casual / Part-time
DEPARTMENT: Ground Operations

Responsibilities and Expectations
- Help maintain a strong culture of safety through strong communication with team members and in practice
- Aircraft marshalling aircraft in calm and adverse weather conditions
- Loading aircraft and communicating load distribution with flight crew
- Grooming interior and exterior of all aircraft
- Aircraft parking, moving and organization
- Strong work ethic with a focus on customer service
- Greet guests and respond to enquiries
- Make reservations for a variety of scheduled flights, day trips, and air freight services.
- Passenger check-in (including baggage handling) and processing a variety of accepted payments
- Performing flight closure duties, aircraft weight and balance checks, pre-boarding of guests, and general boarding of flights (including public announcements).
- Other general counter duties as required
Qualifications/Assets
- Superior customer service skills – willing to take service to a higher level
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Strong communication skills
- High level of awareness in an active environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated computer knowledge and experience working in a Windows based platform
- Ability to lift heavy baggage (23 kg/50 lbs)
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays and able to work in all weather conditions
- Aviation experience a plus
- Fluency in multiple languages is an asset
